99% of the post in this blog are fangirl oriented. From time to time some personal posts but it isn't the usual. My posts are all about Johnny's, Japanese actors, films and doramas. I do have other interests but I don't really talk about them.

Wednesday, October 31, 2007 I want Toma-shaped lolipop for Halloween... ..preferably looking like this.
By the way, I saw the newest episode of Muchaburi , I totally squeed loud. Why? The guest was none other than Fujiki Naohito xD But it has no sub yet *cries* They were doing some sort of game (Naohito and Ryo chan) and Hina told them to shake hands or some sort at the end of the segment and when Nishikido awkwardly went to do so, Fujiki grabbed his hand and jerked him into a hug instead. SO DORKY!CUTE. xDDDDD posted at 11:02 pm by scat_desu | Make a comment
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 Got balls? I have a friend who confessed his feelings to a girl face to face. In this age of technology and advance communication, he must be one of the rare gems who still has the balls to do what every girl wishes her guy will do too deep down inside. A man who is able to cast aside his pride and all fears of possibly facing total rejection or humiliation and just do it must be a very remarkable person. My friends do crazy shit but they are nonetheless amazing xD On other conversation... ME: Can you play [Ruby's Eyes]? Gotta love me friends *snicker* posted at 10:43 pm by scat_desu | Make a comment
Sunday, October 28, 2007 Friends keep us sane! Ah Ying obssession with Hong Kong drama never fails to amuse me. Especially when she gets either a) lovey-dovey or b) teary-eyed when something happens to the characters. Not that I get a kick out of watching her cry or anything, but having someone who shares my strong emotions for fictional characters is refreshing. Of course, every once in a while, I have to remind her that "they're just actors, they're not really dead."It is so uncharacteristic of me to spam YouTube videos but there's just too many good stuff on the internet and this shall be the first of the last two videos that I am going to put up in a while. Wang Lee Hom is brilliant, I will smite anyone who doubts his talents. I just heard his new single playing on local station and I love it!
He plays lots of instruments too *kakkoi* I don't think I'll ever be able to do, this is way beyond my hidden talents :P posted at 01:21 am by scat_desu | Make a comment
Thursday, October 25, 2007 I've been stalking

Such a thing as love I just listened to the radio rip of Ai Nante, dude this song deserve raving xD I think the main vocal here are mainly Tegoshi (opening verse and the first chorus), Shige got the second verse (I don't fancy his voice at all but he's doing quite alright) and Ryo chan got the second chorus and then they cut the song off just before the bridge. Absolutely beautiful. I just have to search for lyric translation and found out how fitting the lyric with the melody too..a bit sad but yeah. I think I'd want the album if only for that song ;P Just because I can...Now I want Akira x Nakatsu x Miroku xD![]() posted at 12:23 am by scat_desu | Make a comment
Tuesday, October 23, 2007 The many sound of my head today Someone just pointed me to something interesting. I went and looked online. Back to the land of uchiwa! Gah I'm disappointed in Yukan Club. Meh I was waiting for so long to see Jin in a drama again but I can't stomach the storyline and the terrible cast ie Junno (isn't he suppose to be suave yet crack!tastic playboy but Junno make that character dumb and dull >_<) and Minami is overacting. I think she's great at some part but most of the time she's like trying too hard. I enjoy Suzuki Emi as Karen though. And Yokoyama pulls off nice i'm!surrounded!by!idiots expressions. Kashi Yuu comes off a little awkward but she's a good actress I think she just needs to get used to it. Jin..well I'm biased lol I love the part when he turned on the gaijin!Japanese when hiding from his dad while working at the party. I'm going to give it another chance and see whether to continue or drop this drama after second episode. *clings to Jin* Bleach 144 : I'm happy to see Ishida back in action, and I'll be very happy to see Chad's fighting develop into more than just "Hi, I'm tough as nails even though I don't move, and then I'm going to punch you through a wall." Not that seeing him stand there for a minute and then knock the shit out of people isn't amusing, of course rocket fist? HELLS yeah *stalk YT for latest release* edit : I just about to pre-order Hana Kimi DVD on Amazon and I got a message saying that my credit card account is locked!! Ehhhhhhh nande >_<posted at 10:02 pm by scat_desu | Make a comment
Friday, October 19, 2007 This is official I LOST WEIGHT! HAHAHAHAHA! And it's official too, Bleach has taken over number one place for my favourite anime from One Piece ^^ Ichigo has got to be one of the most kick!ass anime protagonists... usually, they are such wusses... but he's half-freakin-Hollow! ^__^ He just needs to fight more and not talk so much about "protecting people" lol And those Shinigamis with cool zanpakuto *drools* Byakuya with his royal assness but damn he's good looking, Ichimaru Gin for his Kansai-ben sarcasm and wicked grin, Kenpachi with his ridiculous bells lol Hitsugaya I pedo you! This series owned me so much I can't pick one favourite character...or even ten. And all differently awesome zanpakuto....can't even pick my favourite bankai. Bleach is made of win! posted at 11:01 pm by scat_desu | Comments (2)
Monday, October 15, 2007 A Winter Story Dude, I've come to the point where I write novel for an entry @_@ I should get my hands on more of Iwai Shunji's work. So far I've watched Love Letter, April Story, All About Lily Chou-Chou, Hana to Alice and the latest one is Rainbow Song. The very first movie from him I watched was Love Letter and it blew me away with its sublime storyline and gorgeous cinematography. So I thought of writing it down. Starring the lovely Nakayama Miho in two roles of Watanabe Hiroko, a young woman who loss her fiancé in a mountain climbing accident and Fujii Itsuki a librarian fighting a truly nasty cold. Nakayama Miho does a wonderful job acting the part of the bubbly Fujii Itsuki whose attitude towards people and surroundings is a breath of fresh air in comparison to Watanabe Hiroko. On the eve of the first year anniversary of her fiancé death, Hiroko finds herself looking through Fujii Itsuki's old junior high yearbook. She scans for pictures and mementos as Itsuki's mother speaks of the family's old home in Otaru, of the shy teenage Itsuki, and the lost family estate given way to urban and road development. For sentimental reason, Hiroko takes Itsuki's old Otaru address and send a letter. Dear Aki, How are you? I'm fine. Sincerely, Hiroko One expects the letter to be returned. One expects silence. One expects nothing more than the loss of a stamp. And she got a response: something equally short, mysterious, and confusing. Dear Hiroko, I'm fine, thank you. Just having a little cold. Sincerely, Aki Simply enough, there is another Fujii Itsuki in Otaru. This Fujii Itsuki is a woman, same age as Hiroko. Intriguingly enough, she's also in the same class as her dead fiancé. Receiving the letter, she interprets it as a form of bizarre penpal-ism, and very whimsically replies, starting the correspondence between them. Eventually, after certain revelations come to the female Itsuki, the letters to each other become more honest, Hiroko imploring Itsuki to talk about the other Fujii Itsuki, the boy who shared her name ten years past, during her own age of adolescence. From this moment on a correspondence ensues. Hiroko and Itsuki do encounter each other later but only Hiroko notices Itsuki while she's cycling to post office and probably thinking how they could be twins because their face are so alike. I guess it makes Hiroko thinks whether the only reason the male Aki loves her because of how Hiroko reminds him of his old classmates. Dear Aki, Thanks for your letter, it has straightened everything out. Yes, I'm looking for a male Aki, and he's your classmate. Aki was my fiancé. Do you remember anything about him? Maybe you could tell me what he was like ten years ago. Sincerely, Hiroko Dear Hiroko, Let me relate to you the first day of class and the teacher was taking attendance. "Kotaba-san!" Two voices rang out in the classroom. Heads turned. There were two people with the same name! The teacher smiled, "This is the first time anything like this has happened!" The trouble started from that day. We were both quite shy and quiet, so we became the target of much of the teasing that came from the others. They would write our names two times on the space meant for the two students on duty on the blackboards. Or "Aki loves Aki" might appear quite frequently. There was one time when he did get angry. We were having an election for the class president. Somehow, the other classmates had it all set up, and your Aki and I got the same number of votes. It was a cruel joke. The guy who announced the result said, "And the winner is...Aki...and Aki!" Clap, clap, clap. I think I cried or something, your Aki blew up. He grabbed the guy by the collar and threw him to the wall. The classroom became chaotic, everyone tried to separate the two. Our teacher, Mrs. Hito, came in and stopped the proceedings. She sent your Aki to the school library as a punishment. I went along. I worked at the school library after school hours, and Mrs. Hito was also the head of the library. Your Aki was quite weird. He borrowed books which others wouldn't normally borrow, like history and philosophy. He also like to do one peculiar thing. There is this card which is in each book's pocket. As the student borrowed a book, his name and the due date would be recorded on it. Your Aki liked to take those books which aren't popular, as the cards would be blank, and borrowed them, thus having his name on it. I don't know exactly why he did this for, he probably was a boring person and didn't have much things to do. Once I was riding my bicycle home, a guy with a groceries bag covering his whole head was waiting by his bike beside the road. He had two holes cut out to enable him to see. I could see that it was your Aki quite easily. As I cycled past him, he caught up with me, and without warning, pulled the grocery bag off his head, and threw it over my head. I screamed and had to stop before I hit a tree. I wonder how mean the guy could get. I remember the time when your Aki did a crazy thing. He had gotten into an accident, and nearly broke his leg. Anyway, he was a member of the school athletics team, and the sports day was coming up which saw competitors from many schools. He could not take part, so on that day, he just sat on the grass beside the running track at the starting line and watched the races. When his pet event the 100m dash came up, and the runners were preparing to start from the blocks, your Aki did the same. When the starting gun went off, he did the most stupid thing: he leapt from the ground and sprinted! But after 30m he couldn't take it and stumbled. The guy behind him tripped on him and his chances were gone. It was terrible. The officials gathered around him and wondered who this joker was. There was another time when we had an English test. When I got back the results, I got 27% which was quite poor. But when I looked more closely, I realized this was your Aki's paper, not mine. I waited for him after school at the bicycle shed. It had gotten dark when he appeared. "You have my English paper." I said. "Oh? No wonder I got 95%." He produced the paper he had. He sat down on the ground beside the bicycle. "Why did I get so poor grades?" he asked. "Aki, can you turn my bike's peddles?" I obliged, and the dynamo light at the front of his bike glowed intermittently and he used the dim light to study his paper. "This is not the time to examine the test paper." I complained. After that, he let me have his paper as a sort of a souvenir. This is one of my favourite scenes from the movie, where the female Aki visits back to the junior high where it all began, discovering the secrets the male Aki hid in the library, discovered all these years later. All the letter part I took from this site, the author makes a nice summary for the movie >> Love Letter In the end, the questions that linger in my mind, about Itsuki's junior high school life, and the stark resemblance between the two girls: What if Hiroko was just a substitute for Itsuki? What if, even unconsciously, the teenage male Itsuki did love his female counterpart, thus creating the spark that led to his relationship with Hiroko. Should it matter? posted at 09:37 pm by scat_desu | Comments (2)
